“See Me” HEritage Month Film Series

Some stories deserve more than a moment. They deserve to be seen.

The See Me Film Series, created for MTV Entertainment Studios elevated the voices and lived experiences of underrepresented communities across cultural heritage moments throughout the year.

Bringing together artists, activists, and cultural leaders, each film offered deeply personal reflections on identity, resilience, and belonging, moving beyond celebration to create space for authenticity and connection.

The series also included mentorship partnerships with Morehouse College Cinema Studies students and Outlast Arts and Education, supporting the next generation of storytellers.

The work earned widespread recognition, including Clio Entertainment Awards, Promax/GEMA Gold Awards, Telly Awards, and Anthem Awards, while reaching millions across MTV’s global platforms.

More importantly, it resonated where it mattered most, reminding audiences that representation is not just about visibility. It’s about being truly seen.
